To be Hui is to be Muslim and so anything that feels like an attack on Islam is very threatening. We suggest...
1. Introduce people to Jesus not Christianity
2. Invite them to read about Jesus for themselves in the Bible
3. Never attack Islam because this is attacking their culture
4. Never argue...just love them and invite them to read about Jesus
5. Call Jesus by his Arabic name Isa (尔萨）not his Chinese name (耶稣）
Loving the Hui
Every Muslim is unique and wonderful in God’s eyes and we should be careful not to generalize or presume that all Muslims are the same. Still, there are some issues regarding praying for Muslims to help us pray more effectively. Some Christians do not pray for Muslims because of prejudices or fears. Let us pray by asking God to give us a heart filled with love and compassion towards Muslims. We also need to pray in faith and confidence that God will hear us and will move powerfully in answer to our prayers of love and compassion. (John 14: 12-14)

Hui Bible?
The language of the Chinese Union Version Bible (和合本) is very strange and even offensive to Hui people. This Hui Bible is 100% accurate to the original Hebrew and Greek Bible but is translated using the language of the Hui people. If Hui people stumble while reading the Bible it should be because of the truth of God's love and the cross and not because of the language that we use. Where are the Hui?
There are at least 12 million Hui spread across China. Though many live along the Silk Road in the Northwest of China, many millions live further east in places like Henan, Yunan, and Shandong. There are Hui in every city in China and there may even be Hui believers in Jesus in your church who need to be encouraged to share the gospel with their friends and family. So, where are the Hui? They are probably living right next door to you!
